The New 1-Quetzal Banknote


In 2023 we were commissioned to conceptualize and design the commemorative 1 Quetzal banknote marking the centenary of Guatemala’s currency.

I had the honor of becoming part of this country’s history through this project, studying its culture and past in detail to deliver a memorable, identity-rich piece that was very well received upon its launch. The banknote entered circulation in September 2024.
